Krack | Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan, Samuthirakani | New Dubbed Movie 2023

"KRACK" stands for Key Reinstallation Attacks, and it refers to a series of vulnerabilities discovered in that affected the security of Wi-Fi networks. These vulnerabilities were found in the WPA2 protocol, which is commonly used to secure wireless networks.

The key idea behind the KRACK attack is that an attacker could intercept and manipulate the key exchange process that occurs when a device connects to a Wi-Fi network. By doing so, they could potentially decrypt and even inject malicious data into the traffic between the device and the router. This represented a significant security risk because WPA2 was widely considered a secure way to protect Wi-Fi communications.

The vulnerabilities were discovered by a researcher named Mathy Vanhoef, who detailed them in a research paper and website. Importantly, Vanhoef also worked closely with manufacturers and industry stakeholders to ensure that the vulnerabilities were patched and that new security measures were implemented to protect against such attacks.

The KRACK vulnerabilities served as a reminder of the ongoing need for vigilance in the field of cybersecurity and the importance of promptly patching security flaws when they are discovered. Wi-Fi network administrators and device users were urged to update their software and firmware to protect against these vulnerabilities and enhance the overall security of their networks
