AMD Unveils Ryzen 9000 CPUs For Desktop, Zen 5 Takes Center Stage at Computex 2024
At the Computex exhibition in Taiwan, AMD CEO Lisa Su unveiled two new lines of PC CPUs that the business claims will be able to handle AI as well or better than any competitor :
AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series: This line of processors, also known as "Strix," includes the 9 HX 370, a twelve-core model, and the 9 365, a ten-core model. Both models come with Radeon 800M graphics.
AMD Ryzen 9000 Series: This line of processors includes four models, ranging from six to 16 cores. The 9950X is the model with the highest number of cores and the fastest clock speed.
The latest AMD Ryzen 9000 series processors, based on the Zen 5 architecture, are as follows :
Ryzen 9 9950X: This is the world's fastest consumer desktop processor.
The price of the AMD Ryzen 9000 series processors is not yet available, but the series is expected to be available in the second half of 2024.

Ryzen 7 9700X: 8 Cores, 16 Threads, 5.5GHz Boost Clock, 40MB of L2+L3 cache, and a 65W TDP.
Ryzen 5 9600X: 6 Cores, 12 Threads, 5.4GHz Boost Clock, 38MB of L2+L3 cache, and a 65W TDP.
Pricing information for the new 9000 Series is not yet available.
